I sit here wondering, what is there to write about? What is there to tell? I don't know where to begin, and i don't know how to do so.
Let's just start by recalling what happened in school the other day. Teacher Sarinah gave us a motivational talk on our upcoming 'O' level exams. Somehow, her talks always have the right timing. I was beginning to feel as though i was slacking. Not feel, i was slacking. And to do that this year is something extremely . . . stupid.
Lately, i've been feeling a mix of emotions. But the most prominant of then all, is my awareness of how time is passing us by. Passing me by.
Somehow, i can almost feel it ticking away. And i picture an old grandfather clock, it's gold-coloured pendulum swinging from one side to the other. Other times i can almost see time whizz past me, like tiny microscopic comets and i'm no longer in this world, but somewhere where there is no end.
You can pretty much guess i let my imagination run wild sometimes. But i see no wrong in that, so sometimes, i let it. Other times, i curb it.
Right now, what's going through my mind is something cikmah told us about the universe. How it's 4-dimentional. And the forth dimention is time. The universe is constantly expanding, but there will come a time when it will stop, and it will instead contract.
Time will go backwards.
My teacher told us something the other day. And we got to listen to this thing afew days back. Yesterday, in
fact. It feels so long ago. It's still ringing in my mind. It's still there. Perhaps it's what been making me think what i've been thinking.
But what's going through my mind right now seems to have started eons ago, and i only listened to it yesterday.
*sigh*
On a much lighter note - because we can't be serious and tense all the time, :) - School's been pretty great. I've afew things to look forward to.
I suddenly remembered this quote i like. Someone wrote it on the whiteboard afew weeks back as the 'Quote of the day' for the class.
" The lift to success is always broken, you'll have to take the stairs, one step at a time "
So true, it made me laugh reading it. Haha, smiles and laughter, best medicine there ever was:)
