Welcome
You came to me
Head upright
Back straight
Yet the shadow silhouetting
the door
Is not the genuine article
It's a beautiful doll
with broken springs
And a porcelain face
cracked in half
But held together by slivers of clay
I see unspilled tears
threatening to make little rivulets down
blushing cheeks
And the slender fingers
that tremble so slightly
And the walk that falters
It's so painful to watch
A walking time bomb
Push the red button
It's time for your self-destruction

Been plagued with writer's block, for . . . ever? Okay, that might be
exaggerating, but, for ages anyway. And for some reason, while i was
listening to Vienna
Teng, her song Undone kept replaying in my head, so i put it on repeat. That barely helped though.
Anyhow, i managed to come up with some lines. Except. Except. Well, you read them for yourself, and see what i mean. Can you spell
angst?
There's a moment made
of hopeless fears
And frozen tears
in an empty dream
That is only mine
And the house next door
Made of screaming noises
They rival those i hear below
And i huddle in my sheets
I huddle in my sheets
A thousand
paper cutsA dagger straight to the heart
A crimson valley
Ribbon of life
Neither here nor there
Boo. I have no idea where that came from. But there it is. Comments please, about how bizarre it is.
