Welcome
You came to me
Head upright
Back straight
Yet the shadow silhouetting
the door
Is not the genuine article
It's a beautiful doll
with broken springs
And a porcelain face
cracked in half
But held together by slivers of clay
I see unspilled tears
threatening to make little rivulets down
blushing cheeks
And the slender fingers
that tremble so slightly
And the walk that falters
It's so painful to watch
A walking time bomb
Push the red button
It's time for your self-destruction

While i was never one to show blatant display of school spirit, i actually went out of my way to attend the Bahas 4 pm debate this afternoon, where Maarif was contending against Aljuneid in hopes of securing a place in the quarterfinals.
I did enjoy myself, however. And i can't really complain about having to go all the way to Woodlands, because i don't mind doing something different for a change, and going somewhere different. Plus, it's my friends up there on stage, oozing confidence and dealing out blows in the form of words at the opposition, or rather, proposition =)
Anyway. long story short, we won! hahahaha, take that Aljuneid! It was quite obvious who the winner would be, our girls were just far superior in almost every, if not every aspect
i am so bias And you know, i actually understood whatever it was they were talking about. Hah! I'm not that Dumb when the Malay language is concerned after all! =P
I hope our girls will continue working hard, and Insha Allah, triumph over the other schools (NJC, IJC and RJC <-- they do Not deserve a spot in the quarterfinals! They sucked big time! )
